Before kick-off

  • 90+ min before: Relaxed — Arsenal station quiet, pubs accessible
  • 60 min before: Busy but manageable — trains frequent, short queues
  • 30 min before: Very busy — police queuing systems at Arsenal station
  • 15 min before: Extremely congested — risk of missing kick-off

After full-time

  • Option 1: Finsbury Park (12 min walk) — Victoria line direct to Central London
  • Option 2: Highbury & Islington (15 min) — quieter, great for south/east

  • ⚠ Avoid: Holloway Road — often closed or exit-only post-match

Local tip: the "Highbury walk"
